Dubai Chambers signs MoUs with Nasscom and FKCCI to strengthen India-UAE cooperation in AI, technology, trade and investment. The agreements build on Dubai’s $9.3 billion investment footprint in India and support wider business collaboration.

Dubai Chambers has entered into strategic partnerships with India’s technology industry body Nasscom and the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) to strengthen cooperation in technology, trade and investment. The agreements aim to create new opportunities for businesses in India and Dubai, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies.

The Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) are signed in Bengaluru during a visit by a Dubai Chambers delegation led by President and CEO Mohammed Ali Rashed Lootah. As part of the visit, the delegation holds eight meetings with Indian and multinational companies as well as technology startups, exploring opportunities for greater commercial and technological collaboration.

The partnership with Nasscom is expected to strengthen cooperation between the technology ecosystems of Dubai and India. Both sides seek to facilitate innovation partnerships, business expansion and knowledge exchange, particularly across emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. The collaboration is also intended to help companies identify new markets and build stronger connections between technology businesses in the two regions.

The agreement with FKCCI adds a broader business and trade dimension to the engagement. It is aimed at encouraging greater interaction between companies and business communities while supporting investment opportunities and cross-border commercial activity.

The latest agreements build on the substantial economic relationship between Dubai and India. Dubai currently has an investment footprint of around $9.3 billion in India, with these investments supporting approximately 55,274 jobs. The new partnerships seek to expand this existing relationship by encouraging additional investment, technology cooperation and business growth.

The collaboration also comes amid increasing economic ties between India and the UAE, supported by growing bilateral trade and the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. Dubai continues to serve as an important commercial gateway for Indian companies seeking access to Middle Eastern and global markets.

For Indian technology firms and startups, closer engagement with Dubai can provide opportunities to access international capital, customers, partnerships and business networks. For Dubai, stronger links with India’s technology and business ecosystem can support its ambitions to expand its digital economy and attract innovative companies.

The latest MoUs therefore reinforce the broader India-UAE economic partnership while placing advanced technology, artificial intelligence, investment and cross-border business expansion at the centre of future cooperation.
