From March 10 to March 11 2026 the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of Cambodia Prak Sokhonn visited Singapore to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between the two Southeast Asian countries.
The visit was made at the invitation of Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Vivian Balakrishnan, and highlighted the strong and longstanding partnership between the two countries.
The two countries which developed their relationship through decades of trade and investment and education and regional diplomatic work used the visit to strengthen their existing ties.
During his visit to Singapore Prak Sokhonn conducted meetings with multiple high-ranking officials from Singaporean leadership which included his formal visit to Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.
He conducted talks with Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to assess current partnerships between their countries while investigating potential new partnership opportunities.
Both parties according to their officials need to boost their bilateral ties while they work together to develop their economic ties and investment links and their regional transportation networks.
