The two nations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan established stronger bilateral ties through their signing of a comprehensive cooperation plan which will remain effective until 2027 after their foreign ministers held high-level discussions in Tashkent.

The agreement between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan reached its final stage when Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov and Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev met to sign it, which showed progress in their diplomatic relations.

The newly signed programme will function as a blueprint to guide multiple sector partnerships between the two organizations throughout the upcoming two-year period.

The discussions aimed to improve political dialogue and develop better economic ties while establishing more efficient transportation networks.
