Afghanistan, Uzbekistan Sign $300 Million Trade Deals

Afghanistan and Uzbekistan signed trade agreements worth $300 million which will improve their economic ties and help them better connect with each other.

The two countries completed their agreements after their top officials met to discuss ways to increase trade and develop cross-border trade and new infrastructure projects.

The agreement requires Uzbekistan to grant Afghanistan access to multiple goods which include agricultural products and energy resources and industrial materials.

The trade agreements will establish transportation and energy infrastructure development as essential elements needed to improve cross-border trade between the two countries.
