Uzbekistan is displaying its tourism capabilities through its current exhibition at one of Asia's largest travel and tourism exhibitions which takes place in Delhi while it develops better relations with India.
The 33rd South Asia's Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE 2026) which takes place at the Yashobhoomi Exhibition Centre has united more than 2000 exhibitors from over 60 countries to create a significant worldwide platform for tourism marketing.
A delegation from Uzbekistan which receives backing from the State Committee for Tourism and the Uzbek Embassy in India and Indian partner Blink Brand Solutions created a national pavilion which displays the full cultural heritage of the country together with its historic cities and various tourist attractions.
The pavilion quickly became one of the most active networking hubs at the event, drawing attention from visitors, industry professionals, and potential partners.
The representatives of Uzbekistan's tourist industry together with major tour operators are currently conducting a series of business-to-business meetings with Indian businesses and tourism partners from South Asian countries.

The discussions aim to develop better tourism connections through the creation of joint travel packages and improved visitor attraction efforts for Indian and regional tourists.
Interest among Indian tourists in visiting Uzbekistan has been growing rapidly. In 2025, more than 80000 Indian citizens visited Uzbekistan's historic cities, and current trends indicate that the number will reach 100000 in 2026.
The increase in visitor numbers results from three factors first Uzbekistan's location second its extensive cultural and historical sites and third its recent visa process improvements which include e-visa implementation and enhanced air travel connections that will reach almost 20 weekly flights by April 2026.
Uzbekistan received the VETA Award for exceptional tourism development achievements on the exhibition's opening day showing its growing presence as a tourist destination in Asia. The recognition demonstrates how successful the current reforms and marketing activities have been for the industry.
Uzbekistan demonstrates its dedication to developing tourism partnerships with India through its active involvement in SATTE 2026 which also helps the country build its global tourism reputation.
