Uzbekistan and the United States reaffirm their strategic partnership, strengthening high-level political dialogue and expanding cooperation through bilateral initiatives and the C5+1 framework.
Uzbekistan and the US have reiterated their desire to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations, given their common interest in enhancing cooperation and remaining politically close. This renewed desire was expressed in meetings between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and US Special Presidential Envoy for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gor, in New Delhi.
The discussion was based on development of bilateral ties and possible areas of cooperation in various strategic areas. Both parties evaluated the existing level of collaboration and analyzed means by which a high level of political dialogue between Uzbekistan and the USA can be maintained.
