The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Indonesia are moving to strengthen cooperation in key areas of energy and technology because they want to enhance their existing bilateral relationship.
During a bilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto discussed a range of strategies to enhance collaboration under their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) framework.
The two sides of the negotiation demonstrated their desire to establish stronger connections through business activities while they concentrated their efforts on developing renewable energy and advanced technology and sustainable development.
The two leaders confirmed their dedication to strengthening partnerships for renewable energy and clean energy systems development which includes solar power and green hydrogen and other environmentally friendly energy technologies that contribute to international climate objectives.
The UAE has already been actively investing in clean energy projects while Indonesia continues to execute its energy transition programs which will assist the country in achieving its developmental goals and net-zero emissions objectives.
The two nations will benefit from expanding their collaborative efforts because it will create opportunities for technology sharing and joint business initiatives and increased financial investments.

The two countries established their strategic partnership through this commitment which will lead to their economic and social development. The two countries will celebrate their 50 years of diplomatic relations in 2026 which will serve as a major milestone and a new era of their partnership.
