Tajikistan and Egypt have discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation during a meeting between their diplomatic and interior officials. The talks focused on institutional coordination and practical areas involving travel, documentation and migration-related matters.

Tajikistan and Egypt have discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, with officials reviewing the current state of relations and exploring opportunities for closer coordination between government institutions. The discussions took place during a meeting in Cairo on August 12.

Tajik Ambassador to Egypt Parviz Mirzozoda met Egyptian Deputy Interior Minister and Head of the General Administration of Passports, Immigration and Nationality General Abdullah Muhammad. The officials exchanged views on the work of relevant government bodies and discussed current issues in bilateral cooperation.

The meeting provided an opportunity to examine practical aspects of cooperation between Tajik and Egyptian authorities.
