Among the results of the talks is the confirmation of a strong combined defence strategy. South Korea, the United States and Japan have committed themselves to increased military cooperation by means of conducting joint drills, improved intelligence cooperation and better coordination. Such measures are aimed at increasing the capacity of the three countries to respond to a wide variety of security threats.

Peace and stability within the region were also priorities highlighted by the ministers. The ministers reiterated their dedication to upholding a free, open and rule-of-law-based order in the region, based on international laws, freedom of navigation and sovereignty. Collaboration in areas such as maritime security, cybersecurity and emerging technologies was also a key focus during the talks.

Apart from their military cooperation, the three nations also emphasized the significance of continued diplomatic involvement in tackling security issues. It is important for allies to consult one another for stability purposes and for international endeavors toward the denuclearization of Korea.

The conference highlighted yet again the need for instituting trilateral cooperation via regular consultations at the ministerial level and policy initiatives. The ministers decided to pursue collaboration in defense planning, crisis management, and information sharing as well as improve their armed forces' interoperability.
