Singapore has expressed interest in providing modern technology and technical assistance to Bangladesh to strengthen border management and immigration security, according to Bangladesh’s Ministry of Home Affairs.
The offer was made during a meeting between Bangladesh’s Home Affairs Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury and Singapore’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, See Kok Fong. The two sides discussed cooperation in areas related to border security, immigration management and the use of technology.

During the meeting, Singapore indicated its willingness to share technological expertise and provide technical assistance that could support Bangladesh’s efforts to modernise its border and immigration systems.
