Schneider Electric, a French multinational, plans to build a cutting-edge 500,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, India, at Horizon Industrial Park in Hosur, managed by Blackstone Real Estate funds. The facility will enhance Schneider Electric’s IT Business by focusing on the production, sales, and trading of Battery Management Systems (BMS), including Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), cooling solutions, and electronic accessories.
Two phases will be utilized in the project. Phase 1 will consist of dust free ambiance, new modern office layouts, sophisticated fire protection mechanism, high industrial power supply, and an efficient workplace layout. Phase 2 will provide a high-spec/custom-built facility that will efficiently address the requirements set by Schneider Electric in the advanced manufacturing environment in just seven months.
