Kerala-based cybersecurity startup Technisanct signs an MoU with the UAE Cybersecurity Council to strengthen cyber resilience through threat intelligence sharing, joint defence operations, cyber exercises and technical knowledge exchange.
Kerala-based cybersecurity firm Technisanct Private Limited enters into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Cybersecurity Council in order to enhance collaboration on information and communications technology, cybersecurity and digital resilience. The MoU signing ceremony took place at Dubai World Trade Centre, Expo City, between UAE Cybersecurity Council Chairman, Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti and Technisanct founder & CEO, Nandakishore Harikumar.
This collaboration aims to enhance preparedness for newly emerging cyber threats through more information sharing and cooperative response procedures. According to the agreement, both Technisanct and the UAE Cybersecurity Council shall collaborate in exchanging threat intelligence and conducting joint defence operations and investigation advice for cybersecurity incidents.

It is also agreed that cross-sectoral cybersecurity drills, technical seminars, and international conferences will be conducted. It is expected that both parties will exchange cybersecurity awareness material and form joint expert working groups.

The pact arises from the increased attention being paid by governments and corporations to cybersecurity resilience against the ever-growing complexities of cyber threats. Collaboration between cybersecurity bodies and government authorities is emerging as essential for better threat detection and response, and for effective sharing of information.

Additionally, through the signing of the MoU, Technisanct will have the opportunity to expand its presence within the UAE’s cybersecurity network by leveraging its capabilities in threat intelligence. For the UAE Cybersecurity Council, this is one additional avenue for knowledge transfer on cybersecurity matters across the international platform.
The collaboration, therefore, sets out a foundation for the establishment of an enduring relationship that will cover the areas of threat intelligence, incident response, technical training, and cybersecurity awareness.
