The announcement was made by Bangladesh's Foreign Affairs Adviser, Humayun Kabir, during a media briefing in Dhaka.
According to Kabir, the visit reflects the growing momentum in bilateral relations and underscores the commitment of both governments to expand cooperation across a range of sectors. While the dates of the visit have not yet been officially announced, preparations are underway for the high-level engagement, which is expected to focus on enhancing trade, investment, labour, energy, and broader economic collaboration.
The development comes as Bangladesh seeks to strengthen partnerships with key Gulf nations, particularly Saudi Arabia, which remains one of its most important strategic and economic partners. Millions of Bangladeshi nationals live and work in the Kingdom, making remittances and labour cooperation a significant pillar of the bilateral relationship. The two countries have also maintained close collaboration in areas such as infrastructure development, investment, humanitarian assistance, and regional diplomacy.
