Air India Expands partners with Uzbekistan Airways

Air India has partnered with Uzbekistan Airways to strengthen air connectivity between India and Central Asia through a codeshare agreement, which represents a major development for international travel between these two regions.

Under this collaboration Air India will use its code "AI" to identify multiple routes that Uzbekistan Airways operates which include important flights between Delhi and Tashkent and between Mumbai and Tashkent and between Goa and Tashkent during specific times of the year.

This system enables travelers to purchase single tickets which allow them to travel without interruption through both airlines, thereby making their travel experience more convenient and flexible.

The partnership will improve travel and tourism and trade activities between India and Central Asian countries. The two airlines plan to improve travel accessibility for business and leisure passengers through their expanded network and smoother flight connections.
