A delegation from the Ministry of Construction, headed by Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van, recently engaged in individual bilateral discussions with representatives from China and Malaysia to enhance cooperation in construction and urban development in a meaningful way.

The events occurred during the 2025 China – ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable on Construction in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, providing new cooperation opportunities for Vietnam’s construction industry, as stated by the Ministry of Construction.

During discussions with Li Xianlong, Vice Minister of Housing and Urban – Rural Development of China, both parties praised their recent cooperation successes and shared information on new development directions.

Van emphasized Vietnam's strategic overhaul to achieve significant progress in the near future. Simultaneously, Li presented China's high-quality development model that focuses on excellent homes, excellent apartments, excellent urban areas, and excellent communities supported by digitalisation and advanced technologies.
