- AMC Robotics opens Vietnam subsidiary to scale Kyro production
- Facility manages assembly, integration, quality, and supply chain
- Plans R&D expansion to drive innovation and next-gen robotics
AMC Robotics Corporation, a US company whose main focus is AI-driven robotic solutions, has opened a fully-owned branch in Vietnam for the manufacturing of its quadruped robotic dog Kyro. The new AMCV Company Limited is set up in Ho Chi Minh City and will be the exclusive regional center for manufacturing and operations.
AMCV will take care of the whole production process for Kyro, which means it will handle supplier coordination, mechanical and electronic assembly, systems integration, quality control, and supply-chain management.
The U.S. Company pointed out that Vietnam has a good position for high-tech manufacturing, providing a well-trained labor force and a solid supporting environment for electronics, robot parts, and precise assembly.
The firm stated, “This expansion represents a strategic step in building a globally distributed manufacturing footprint for AMC Robotics’ hardware products”.

By operating in a cost-efficient environment with stable tariffs, AMC Robotics intends to enhance production efficiency, optimize costs, shorten lead times, and finally, support the commercial deployment of Kyro across industrial, commercial, and public-sector applications, and this would be done on a large scale.
This decision is in line with the broader plan of AMC Robotics to integrate robotics hardware, AI software, and operational services vertically; thus, they will be able to consistently produce high-quality products and scale up production reliably to satisfy the increasing demand.
In the future, the company is also looking to possibly increase its operations in Vietnam by establishing a research and development center. This kind of initiative will be mainly for the development of new products; engineering involved in the making of robots and the next generation; further, it will strengthen AMC’s global manufacturing and technology footprint while speeding up the development of Kyro and other robotic solutions.
