Syrma SGS Technology has entered a strategic partnership with Dynabook Singapore to produce Dynabook's laptops jointly in India. Dynabook has been a pioneer in the laptop industry since 1985 when it introduced the first portable PC. Dynabook is the leading commercial PC brand in Japan and has a comprehensive portfolio of B2B computing solutions.
The Partnership with Dynabook will allow Syrma SGS to manufacture many Dynabook's laptops in its India facilities; this is very advantageous to the Indian Government which promotes "Make in India." Policies and incentives favoring local electronics manufacturing aim to reduce the dependency on imported items.
