Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel unveiled a set of new initiatives during the opening of the eighth Global Health Exhibition 2025 in Riyadh. These consist of the local vaccine production in collaboration with prominent global firms and the launch of the intelligent health coach, created in partnership with Google.
“The smart health coach, an unprecedented step, brings technology closer than ever to the health of every individual, and will soon be available on the Sehhaty,” he said.
The minister also announced the introduction of the AI Physician experience for precise disease identification. “Saudi Arabia is witnessing an unprecedented health transformation thanks to the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, and the follow-up of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman,” he said.
The exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Health, takes place under the theme "Invest in Health" at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center. The minister disclosed that the forum will feature agreements and investments totaling over SR124 billion.

He revealed the plan of the Saudi Pharmaceutical Investment Company (Lifera) to establish the domestic production of various vaccines in partnership with prominent global firms. Al-Jalajel emphasized that the globe is encountering growing health issues, such as the rise in chronic illnesses, escalating healthcare expenses, and a lack of skilled staff.
He highlighted that the Kingdom’s health transformation has made considerable strides, reflected in a 40 percent drop in chronic disease mortality, over a 60 percent reduction in fatalities from traffic accidents, and a rise in life expectancy from 74 in 2016 to 79 years by 2025.
