RTX has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), detailing a 10-year plan for enhanced long-term strategic collaboration in Singapore.

RTX states that the agreement reinforces its enduring dedication to Singapore and positions it as a crucial center for RTX’s worldwide operations, especially in aerospace MRO, advanced manufacturing, and innovation.

The MoU, revealed at the Paris Air Show 2025, exemplifies the mutually advantageous long-term collaboration between RTX and EDB, strengthening both parties' dedication to Singapore’s role as a strategic hub in RTX’s worldwide network.

It creates opportunities for strategic investments and partnerships in key areas such as advanced manufacturing, MRO, AI and innovation, talent and skills development, as well as essential technologies for upcoming platforms.

Paolo Dal Cin, senior vice president for RTX’s operations and supply chain, stated, “This MoU builds on our decades-long partnership with Singapore and creates new opportunities to explore innovation and future growth in the aerospace sector. It represents our shared vision for building a strong future focused on technology, advanced manufacturing, and talent development in the Asia-Pacific region.”

Cindy Koh, executive vice president at the EDB, said, “Singapore’s longstanding partnership with RTX, a globally leading aerospace company, bears testament to our standing as Asia’s leading aerospace hub. We are heartened to see RTX’s growth in Singapore to capture aerospace and aviation growth opportunities in the Asia Pacific region.

“We are excited to witness the build-out of new capabilities in advanced manufacturing and innovation in the coming years, which will bring significant value to the ecosystem.”
