During the official visit of President Sadyr Zhaparov to Malaysia, the Ministry of Energy and Citaglobal Berhad signed a Memorandum of Understanding, according to Trend reports from the country's Ministry of Energy.

The agreement seeks to promote beneficial collaboration in the area of green energy. Moreover, Kyrgyz Energy Minister Talaaibek Ibraev held discussions with officials from PETRONAS, a prominent entity in the worldwide energy sector.

In the meeting, Ibraev emphasized the importance of interaction with Malaysia and the country's openness to international cooperation in the energy sector. He presented an extensive examination of the country’s energy potential and profitable investment opportunities.

The minister also delivered a talk on “Prospective Green Energy Projects,” explaining approaches for hydrogen energy development, enhancement of electric vehicle charging facilities, and renewable energy efforts.

Both parties expressed a mutual willingness to improve practical cooperation. Ibraev invited the PETRONAS delegation for an in-person meeting to foster detailed discussions about joint investment opportunities in the energy sector.
