During his trip to China for the regular meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, met with China's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi, as reported by Kazinform News Agency.
The Kazakh Foreign Ministry's press service reported that the parties addressed various matters regarding Kazakh-Chinese cooperation, focusing on the current situation and future possibilities for collaboration in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian areas.
The speakers observed the favorable progress in the evolution of political dialogue between the two nations. Special focus was given to the practical execution of the agreements made during the discussions between the leaders of Kazakhstan and China, along with the timetable for future high-level events.

Due to the traditionally transparent and trust-filled discussions between the Heads of State conducted this year in Astana, new ambitious objectives were established and a further path for collaboration was defined. Minister Nurtleu stated that our shared responsibility at this moment is to exert all possible efforts to guarantee the successful execution of the agreements made. Moreover, matters regarding the additional growth of trade, economic, investment, energy, and transit-transport collaboration were addressed.
In summary, the parties shared perspectives on urgent regional and global matters and reached a consensus to maintain strong collaboration and coordination within multilateral platforms, such as the UN, SCO, CICA, and the Central Asia–China format.
Previously, it was announced that Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu participated in the ongoing meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
