The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand rolled out a major project that would facilitate the digital change in the country. The new plan of the commission aims at improving the availability of broadband internet access, ensuring better telecommunication infrastructure, and using innovative technologies in order to develop the digital economy.

“The NBTC has launched a new initiative, which seeks to achieve greater collaboration between the public sector and the private sector in order to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies, especially in the rural areas.
