Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer, Saudi Deputy Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs, visited the Wadi El-Nile Stio facility for the production of hemodialysis filters and dialyzers in Cairo during his official visit to Egypt. During the visit, the group examined the facility's cutting-edge production lines for hemodialysis filters, a crucial sector in medical manufacturing for the region. Officials showcased the complete production process and technologies employed, all adhering to international quality standards and meeting the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) criteria.
Conversations centered on the possibility of industrial collaboration between Wadi El-Nile Stio and the Saudi Ministry of Industry to establish hemodialysis-filter production in Saudi Arabia. The initiative intends to share Egyptian know-how to aid Saudi Vision 2030 and corresponds with Egypt’s plan to boost domestic pharmaceutical manufacturing and attain self-sufficiency in vital medical resources.
Tamer F., Vice Chairperson of the EDA, highlighted the Authority's backing for collaborative industrial investments, mentioning that Egyptian-Saudi partnership strengthens Arab pharmaceutical and medical security. Al-Mudaifer emphasized Egypt’s robust industrial foundation and its capacity to aid Saudi localization initiatives under Vision 2030.
