DPIIT, KRAFTON India Partner To Boost Startups

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with KRAFTON India to strengthen India’s startup ecosystem in the gaming and digital entertainment sectors.

The partnership aims to advance innovation and business growth through its backing of startups that develop online gaming and esports and interactive media and artificial intelligence solutions.

The government continues its efforts to enhance entrepreneurship while establishing India as a worldwide center for digital content and technology-based industries.

The two organizations will work together to create innovation challenges and hackathons and workshops and mentorship programs which will assist startups in building their skills and growing their businesses.

The initiatives will develop capabilities for game design and animation and immersive technologies and AI applications while fostering knowledge sharing between participants and providing them with industry experience.

Startups will gain advantages through their ability to work with specialists who will provide them with knowledge about international market developments and help them attend selected business events.

The partnership seeks to connect startups with different programs that operate within India's innovation ecosystem which includes Startup India as one of its resources.

The officials explained that partnerships between Indian enterprises and major international corporations will boost India's emerging market competitiveness while creating fresh business opportunities for new ventures.

The DPIIT-KRAFTON India MoU shows a strategic plan to enhance India's digital entertainment and gaming industry. The initiative will create a research and development ecosystem for Indian startups which needs government support and industry expertise to foster talent development and drive innovation.
