China is dedicated to assisting companies from all nations to actively participate in the global distribution of labor within industrial and supply chains, and promote synergy between "Made in China" and "Made in ASEAN" on a wider level, stated the nation's leading industry regulator.
Li Lecheng, the Minister of Industry and Information Technology in China, stated that the country will focus on institutional opening to foster a vibrant setting for industrial convergence, promoting deeper involvement of global enterprises in supply and industrial chains, and enhancing collaboration between Chinese and ASEAN manufacturing.
Li expressed his thoughts during the 2025 China-ASEAN Industry Ministerial Roundtable Meeting held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Wednesday.
He states that in recent years, China has focused on new industrialization as a key objective, propelling high-quality development that consistently provides fresh impetus for China ASEAN tech ties. The partnership in industry between both parties has produced significant results and built a strong foundation. China seeks to enhance this partnership by promoting greater openness, improving coordination mechanisms, and implementing more substantial measures.
