China's Commerce Ministry announced that it has included 14 foreign organizations on its "unreliable entity list," limiting their capacity to engage in business activities in the world's second-largest economy.
Several companies, primarily located in the United States, have engaged in military and technological collaboration with Taiwan, or “made malicious remarks about China, and assisted foreign governments in suppressing Chinese companies”, it said in a separate statement.
TechInsights, a well-known Canadian technology research company, along with nine of its subsidiaries, including Strategy Analytics, found themselves on the blacklist.
