  • ADIO signs 29 deals advancing autonomous mobility across Abu Dhabi sectors.
  • Autonomous cargo vehicles and drone pilots drive next-gen logistics.
  • AI, robotics, and sustainability reshape Abu Dhabi’s smart transport.

Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has revealed 29 commercial deployment agreements related to autonomous mobility technologies during the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit, which is part of the first Abu Dhabi Autonomous Week (ADAW).

Signifying a pivotal moment in worldwide smart mobility, the significant agreements signed by ADIO with partners including K2, LODD Autonomous (LODD), Autologix, Sinaha, TractEasy, MLG, and Space42, position the capital as one of the initial cities globally to implement a cohesive, multi-modal autonomous regulatory and infrastructure framework that allows businesses to move from the pilot stage to commercial operation.

The 29 commercial agreements cover essential sectors, including e-commerce, food and goods delivery with partners such as Integrated Transport Centre (AD Mobility), Talabat, Noon, and Aramex, as well as healthcare delivery and logistics with PureLab, and automation in industrial logistics.

Established autonomous technologies for aerial and terrestrial delivery, as well as tailored industrial uses, have begun practical operations throughout Abu Dhabi. This coordinated method, overseen and facilitated across all types of transportation by SASC, is transforming how businesses and consumers dispatch and obtain products.

Emphasizing independent innovation and the sustainable, safe, and efficient implementation moves a customer-focused future logistics network closer to becoming fully operational. Sinaha Technology, located in Abu Dhabi and focused on AI-powered automation, robotics, and drone technologies, is creating logistics advancements that are changing how goods are transported.

This encompasses autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs) functioning nonstop to lower emissions and expenses, alongside intelligent warehouses driven by robotics and AI, plus a digital Fleet Management System providing immediate visibility and predictive effectiveness.

The innovative method of logistics management also encompasses Abu Dhabi's aerial logistics system via multiple groundbreaking drone delivery trials spearheaded by LODD in collaboration with PureLab, EMX, Noon, and Aramex. Ground delivery pilots have been broadened to include heavy goods with the initiation of a collaboration between Autologix (a joint venture of 7X and Zelostech) and Emirates Post.

The pilot will introduce Level 4 autonomous cargo vehicles in Abu Dhabi. Built without a driver's cabin or steering wheel, these specially designed vehicles signify a new era of urban logistics that is safer, more efficient, and entirely electric.
