Abu Dhabi Airports and Hafeet Rail recently signed an agreement to jointly develop logistics and transport solutions that connect air and rail networks to improve connectivity between the UAE and Oman. The project is anchored on a planned corridor that connects Al Ain International Airport (AAN) to the wider UAE and Sohar in Oman, which establishes an important cross-border route for passengers and freight at Al Ain, an important hub in the next generation of mobility and commerce across the region. This collaboration aids in the vision of Abu Dhabi to create a fully connected transport network that is world-class and increases the modes of passenger and freight transportation and supports the emirate's position as a regional leader of integrated mobility.
