A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Laziz Kudratov, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade, engaged with Mikayil Jabbarov, the Economy Minister of Azerbaijan, leading to the signing of agreements between top companies from each nation.
The meeting, which included representatives from the business sectors of both nations, showcased the signing of multiple agreements focused on diversifying economic partnerships and enhancing economic cooperation in crucial areas such as dairy production and processing, chemical and electrical engineering, high-voltage cable manufacturing, housing construction, and building materials production.
Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade signed cooperation agreements with the Azerbaijani firms Matanat A and TuranAz. These contracts detail initiatives for producing dry construction mixes, creating gypsum boards, and building residential properties in the city of Namangan, Uzbekistan.

Moreover, companies from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan entered into contracts for dairy product manufacturing. These agreements were made between Panamilk and Atena, along with Jizzax Organic and Milla Dairy.
The occasion also saw the signing of partnership agreements between Uzbek Havas Holding and Azerbaijani RJ Chemical Co for household chemicals production and sales, as well as between the Uzbek Uzeltexsanoat Association and Azerbaijani STP Global Cable company regarding a high-voltage cable production initiative.
