NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) and Oxagon have formed a significant collaboration to enhance industrial scalability. The partnership will position NGHC at the forefront of NEOM’s sustainable industrial vision by creating the globe’s largest green hydrogen facility in Oxagon, NEOM’s transformed industrial hub on the Red Sea.
When operational, the facility will generate affordable, large-scale green hydrogen, supporting Oxagon’s growing clean energy production ecosystem.
The green hydrogen plant - being developed since 2023 - serves as a flagship initiative for NGHC and a vital component in NEOM’s approach to establish a carbon-neutral, circular economy.
Hosted at Oxagon, the collaboration guarantees a direct connection with NEOM's goal of becoming a worldwide hub for advanced and sustainable industries. NGHC’s facility is under construction with advanced technologies to produce clean hydrogen at scale, striving to establish global standards for efficiency and cost.
Its position on the Red Sea facilitates efficient logistics via NEOM’s port and boosts the opportunities for hydrogen exports to global markets.
