Kazakhstan and Turkiye have agreed to deepen their strategic partnership and increase bilateral trade to $15 billion as both countries expand cooperation across energy, transportation, defence, infrastructure, and investment sectors. The development was announced during high-level diplomatic engagements aimed at strengthening economic and geopolitical ties between the two nations.
Officials from both countries highlighted the growing importance of the Kazakhstan -Turkiye partnership within regional connectivity initiatives linking Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Europe. Discussions focused on boosting trade volumes, improving transport corridors, and expanding collaboration in logistics, agriculture, mining, digital technologies, and renewable energy.
The two countries are also working to strengthen the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, commonly referred to as the Middle Corridor, which has gained strategic importance as businesses seek alternatives to traditional trade routes disrupted by geopolitical tensions. Analysts believe enhanced cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkiye could improve regional trade efficiency and strengthen Eurasian supply chains.

Turkiye, meanwhile, continues to expand its economic and diplomatic presence across Central Asia through infrastructure, trade, and cultural initiatives.
The renewed alliance is expected to accelerate investment opportunities, regional transit development, and cross-border commercial activity while reinforcing economic resilience amid ongoing global trade uncertainties.
