The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Hungary and NC Kazakh Invest conducted a meeting with officials from Hungary's top home textile producer, Naturtex Kft, as reported by Trend.
Naturtex has been sourcing down and feathers from Kazakhstan in recent years and is now keen on increasing supply quantities while creating a sustainable joint production model in the region.
The conversation centered on adapting particular phases of the production process in Kazakhstan, ranging from waterfowl breeding and initial processing to creating fillers and final products with export opportunities.
In the meeting, Abzal Saparbekuly, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, highlighted that Kazakhstan provides numerous incentives for foreign investors, such as tax advantages, access to infrastructure within special economic zones, and government support for production aimed at exports.
Ulbosyn Sarybayeva, the foreign representative of Kazakh Invest in Hungary, highlighted the company's contribution to aiding international investors.
“We provide comprehensive support-from preparing investment proposals and organizing meetings with government agencies to post-project assistance. We see great potential in the development of the textile sector in Kazakhstan and are ready to assist Naturtex in implementing joint projects. Localizing production processes will not only boost export potential but also create new jobs and technological expertise within the country,” she said.
Consequently, the participants decided to conduct a set of focused negotiations with appropriate governmental agencies, regional authorities, industry groups, and possible collaborators.
