HP Launches Programme to Boost Startups and AI in Singapore

Asia Manufacturing Review Team | Tuesday, 07 October 2025

  • HP launches Garage 2.0 in Singapore to accelerate AI-driven startup innovation.
  • Ten startups gain HP’s mentorship, workspace, and global market expansion support.
  • Initiative backed by Antler, EDB, and tech leaders such as NVIDIA, Intel, and Qualcomm.

HP, the major computer and Printer Company, has unveiled Garage 2.0, a platform intended to expedite the startup growth, lead advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), and enhance Singapore’s status as a worldwide innovation center.

Drawing inspiration from HP’s origins in a rented garage in Palo Alto, frequently regarded as the cradle of Silicon Valley, Garage 2.0 seeks to reinvent that entrepreneurial ethos for Asia. The program began with a group of 10 startups, each leading the way in innovative solutions across various sectors with a focus on AI-powered applications.

These consist of Wubble.ai, the globe's “first ethical B2B AI music platform,” allowing companies to generate personalized, royalty-free music within seconds, and Pints AI, which builds on-premise, auditable GenAI systems for regulated sectors.

The first Garage 2.0 cohort will be able to utilize HP’s engineering knowledge, business strategies, and market-entry assistance, allowing them to expand their influence worldwide.

They will gain from shared workspaces situated on HP’s Singapore campus, where they can experiment, enhance, and grow their innovations. In addition to physical space, the platform provides direct access to HP’s specialists in various business and technology areas.

Furthermore, startups will benefit from the backing of the global early-stage venture capital firm Antler, allowing them to tap into its broad innovation ecosystem for funding, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and links to an international network of investors. In collaboration with HP, the venture capital will set up a base at HP's Singapore campus, forming a vibrant center for innovation and collaboration.

“By partnering with HP and the broader ecosystem through Garage 2.0, we are creating an innovation hub where we fuel ambition with resources: capital, mentorship, and a global network of investors, operators, and partners,” said Jussi Salovaara, Co-Founder and Managing Partner - Asia, Antler.

“Together, we are committed to ensuring that the boldest ideas have the opportunity to become the category-defining companies that change the world.”

In addition to Antler, the HP Garage 2.0 initiative is backed by Singapore's Economic Development Board (EDB), which promotes collaborations among industry stakeholders.

HP will collaborate with technology companies such as NVIDIA, Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm; government bodies such as IMDA, Enterprise Singapore, and SGInnovate; along with The Generative Beings, an expanding network for AI creators, developers, and specialists throughout Asia, who will offer expertise to foster innovation and deliver insights to the cohort.

“The Garage 2.0 programme demonstrates how global companies in Singapore can partner with our vibrant business and tech ecosystem to drive and scale innovation,” said Lionel Lim, Vice President and Head, Technology Hardware and Equipment, EDB.
