Egypt and Saudi Arabia are about to finish their historic electricity interconnection project which will improve energy partnerships between both nations and their Middle Eastern neighbors.

Egypts Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat visited the cross-border interconnection station to check on construction work and equipment tests which will start their first trial operations in the next few weeks.
